About Michael Lattimore

Michael Lattimore MA, CISSP serves as the Cyber Operations Officer for Training Dynamics (TDN) and an authorized Certnexus CyberSAFE instructor. He trains formerly incarcerated and former foster youth as CyberSAFE Specialists for Success Support, LLC.

As a Cybersecurity Awareness Evangelist, Michael has credentials as a Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA A+ Certified, Modern Classroom Certified Trainer (MCCT), and Global Information Security Specialist (GIAC-GISP).

An engaging public speaker, Michael earned the Distinguished Toastmasters designation (DTM), the highest designation awarded by Toastmasters International, and represented at the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking in 1999. He is also a certified professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation, and holds a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology.

He has served as a facilitator for Bridge to Possibilities, an initiative committed to serving non-profit organizations helping formerly incarcerated and at-risk youth and, since 2009, has been serving as a facilitator of compassionate experiential education with the Freedom to Choose Prison project, which delivers content to 35 California prisons. Michael also leads the organization’s internal DEI initiative to enhance equity and ensure the participation of a more diverse volunteer base and leadership pool.

He currently serves on the boards of 2 Southern California non-profits delivering community technology services to neighborhoods and compassionate education to 6 California prisons. In addition, he serves as Co-Secretary of Roots in Guinea-Bissau, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting education and infrastructure for the people of Guinea-Bissau.

His hobbies and life interests include prison outreach and youth leadership, storytelling, genealogy, travel photography, teaching spiritual practices like Life Visioning and meditation, mentoring cybersecurity initiates, conducting cybersecurity awareness workshops (CyberSAFE), computer gaming and experimenting with ChatGPT, and world travel.
